Nikola Jokić Scores Career-High 56 Points in Loss to Struggling Wizards In a thrillin I g yet disappointing game, Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets put up an extraordinary performance, scoring a career-high 56 points. Unfortunately for Jokić and his team, his amazing effort wasn’t enough to secure a win as the Nuggets lost to the Washington Wizards, a team that has been struggling this season. The final score was 141-128 in favor of the Wizards. Jokić’s 56 points came on 22-of-25 shooting, which is an incredible shooting percentage of 88%. He was almost perfect from the floor, only missing three shots in the entire game. In addition to his points, Jokić also contributed 12 rebounds and 4 assists, showcasing his all-around skills. His performance was a reminder of why he is considered one of the best players in the NBA today. Despite Jokić’s individual brilliance, the Nuggets couldn’t overcome the Wizards’ strong team play.  Lakers' Bronny James Nets First NBA  Bucket,Calls it a'Dream Come True'

Bronny James, the son of basketball legend LeBron James, made his NBA debut with the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.  The 20-year-old rookie guard scored his first career points in the fourth quarter of the Lakers' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The moment came with 2:03 remaining in the game. Bronny received a pass from teammate Austin Reaves and calmly sank a 14-foot jump shot from the left corner. The crowd at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse erupted in cheers as Bronny celebrated his milestone achievement.

"It was insane," Bronny said after the game. "Much more than I anticipated for sure. It's all love. It was a nice moment. The chants really got me. I was straight-faced, but I felt it and it felt pretty good, especially coming from here."

LeBron James, who watched the game from the bench, was proud of his son's accomplishment. "To see him get his first NBA basket in this arena, where he grew up not too far away from here, that's an unbelievable moment," LeBron said. "Unbelievable moment for him, and for our family it's just pretty cool to be a part of it."

Bronny's NBA debut was highly anticipated, and he did not disappoint. He played five minutes in the game, finishing with two points, two assists, and one steal. His performance was impressive, and he showed that he has the potential to be a valuable contributor to the Lakers.

Bronny's journey to the NBA has been well-documented. He played high school basketball at Sierra Canyon School in California, where he was a McDonald's All-American. He then committed to play college basketball at USC, but he decided to forgo his college eligibility and enter the NBA Draft.

The Lakers selected Bronny with the 45th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He signed a two-way contract with the team, which means he will split his time between the Lakers and their G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

Bronny's NBA debut was a historic moment for the James family. It was the first time in NBA history that a father and son have played in the same league together. LeBron and Bronny are now the only father-son duo to have played in the NBA.

Bronny's NBA career is just beginning, but he has already made a name for himself. He is a talented player with a bright future ahead of him. Lakers fans are excited to see what he can do in the years to come.
