SILVER FERNS SHINE: GRACE NWEKE LEADS NEW ZEALAND TO CONSTELLATION CUP GLORY

In a thrilling display of netball, New Zealand's Silver Ferns have clinched the Constellation Cup, defeating Australia 61-43 in Perth. Grace Nweke stole the show with an impressive 47 goals from 50 attempts, securing a 3-0 lead in the series.

The Silver Ferns dominated the game, with Nweke's shooting prowess and Ameliaranne Ekenasio's 14 goals from 17 attempts proving too much for the Australian Diamonds. Despite Sophie Garbin's 26 goals from 28 attempts and Sophie Dwyer's 14 from 20, Australia couldn't overcome New Zealand's strong performance.

The win marks the first time New Zealand has held the Constellation Cup since 2021, and the size of the victory on Australian soil is a significant blow to the Diamonds' confidence. The teams will face off again in Melbourne on Wednesday, but the Silver Ferns are already basking in the glory of their triumph.

Nweke's impressive form and Ekenasio's support were key to New Zealand's success, while Australia's turnovers and struggles to contain Nweke ultimately led to their downfall. The Silver Ferns' victory is a testament to their skill and determination, and they will be eager to continue their winning streak in the final match of the series.
